The Skipton Ukulele Band joined members of Craven Open Door on Tuesday 26 April for an evening of music making. During the course of the evening Eric Crimmins, leader of the band, presented a cheque for £300 to the club which had been raised by busking on the High Street.
‘What a fantastic and generous response from both the Ukulele Band and the public’, said Gordon Fothergill, organiser of Craven Open Door, a social club for vulnerable people from 16 years upwards.
‘We are delighted to help such a worthwhile charity’ said Eric Crimmins. The Ukulele Club meets on Thursday nights in the Holy Trinity Church café rooms at 6:30
